NEW FEATURES & UPDATES
- Access Peer Coordinator Cases in the volunteer portal - You can now view your active Peer Coordinator cases in the volunteer portal. To make a volunteer a peer coordinator, check the Peer Coordinator box on the Volunteer Detail screen. You can then set a volunteer as a peer coordinator on a case by selecting their name in the drop-down list in the PeerC ID field on the Case Detail screen ( beneath the supervisor ID field )
- Updated value list editor dialog - The dialog that comes up when a user selects ~Edit Value List has been updated and simplified
- New Report Flags & Alerts - Flags have been added for new reports added to the Report Menu. These new reports will float to the top of the list for easy access. We’ve also added an alert for existing reports, that show up orange above the Run Report button. This will allow CM to alert users when reports have been changed or will be deprecated.
- Added export button to the Caseload - Previously there was no ability to export case data from the Caseload. The export function has been added to this layout.
- Added the Volunteer References list to the Webform Data tab - We’ve made the volunteer references easier to access along with the applications. They are both shown in the Webform Data tab. They have not been removed from their previous location and are still viewable from the Volunteer Screening tab.
- Added date range checkboxes for services & notes in Mix & Match find screens - We’ve added checkboxes on the Services and Notes Mix & Match find screens to allow users to easily find notes and services in the date range ( rather than manually entering the date range in the date fields ).
- Added fingerprint fields to the Staff Screening tab - Training fields for fingerprints have been added to the Staff training tab
- Revealed Casework Misc. Date fields 5-10 - There were previously only 5 misc. date fields available for Casework. We have expanded that to 10.
BUG FIXES
- Send Reference Request & characters in agency name - Certain characters in the Agency Name could potentially cause errors in the send email scripts. These have been substituted out in the email routines.
- Fixed sort issues with the Hours combo report - Altered sorts in the menu and expanded the sub summary parts to accommodate more sort options.
- Added multiple fields to export options, including Volunteer interview dates and Placement fields -
- Added the criminal offense portal to the Casework Mix & Match / Petitions tab
- Case Close task and Professionals Disappearing after resigning - Previously, once a user added a date end for a professional when closing a case, that professional assignment disappeared from view. We are now keeping all those professional assignments in view during the case close process
- Share a professional by case name bug fixed - When using the professional assignment sharing option, finding children by case name wasn’t always working.
- Un-archive a volunteer record if a new application is submitted - Previously, if an application was submitted for an archived volunteer, users still could not find that volunteer to process unless they unarchived them. Now, any time an application is submitted for a volunteer that is archived, they get unarchived for easy access

Documents Upgrades
UPLOAD MULTIPLE DOCUMENTS – You can now drag-drop multiple documents to upload at one time, as well as drag-drop an entire folder of documents for upload.
FILTER DOCUMENT LISTS – Click into any column header on the Documents tabs to enter filter criteria. You can filter by date, document type, title, etc. No more endless scrolling to find the document you want. Simply filter for the documents to view / edit.
SAVE SESSION – There are instances where you may need to upload dozens of documents for a case. This can be time consuming! Now, you can Save Session For Later to save your progress and return to finish the upload later. Simply click the Save for Later button in the document upload window, give your session a name, and when you return to upload documents for that same case / volunteer, you will see your session to restore.
Volunteer Portal Documents and Preferences
You can now select which document types you want available for your volunteers to view and upload. Look for this preference in the Agency Preferences / Volunteer Portal / My Cases tab.
Volunteer Application PDF Creation Bug
Bug Fix: PDF creation of new volunteer applications is now fixed.
Two-Factor Authentication
You can now enable 2FA for CasaManager staff logins. A new Security tab in Agency Preferences allows you to enable this feature. When enabled, staff will be prompted to enter a code that is texted to their phone number listed in CasaManager before being allowed to log in.
Training Cohort Picker
We have added a Training Cohort ( training quarter ) picker for volunteer pre-service trainings. Similar to other pickers in the system, you can search for and add training cohorts and select them for pre-service training records.

Bug Fix: Hearing Notification Letter
Some data, under some circumstances, was showing for older cases / assignments on this notification letter.
Tab orders cleaned up
Tab orders throughout the system have been cleaned up and made more consistent
Audit log from Agency screens shows changes to staff presets
When you view the Audit Log from any Agency screen, you will be shown a list of staff preset changes. This should help users identify when changes are made to staff presets and the user who made them.
Bug Fix: Dashboard Birthday widget omits staff who have left agency
The dashboard birthday widget was including staff who had left the agency
Bug Fix: Delete documents for Inservice / Outreach
There was an intermittent bug when deleting documents that prevent the doc from being deleted, this has been addressed
Bug Fix: Buttons on dialog screens
On multiple dialog windows for smaller screens or zoom states, save and cancel buttons at the bottom were not visible. This has been addressed for many dialogs, please alert us if any more remain.
New Feature: Download document from document dialog
You can now download a document directly from the dialog upload / edit screen
New Volunteer Portal Preference: Edit professional assignment data ( start and end dates )
We have added a new Volunteer Portal preference to allow volunteers the ability to to edit start and end dates for professional assignments. By default this is turned off, so no changes will be made for volunteers unless you enable this in the Agency Preferences.
New Feature: Custom Agency Links ( set in Customize / WebForm links, these links show up in the Help menu )
You can now add up to 10 custom links, that are available from the Help menu for all users. Perhaps you have a custom training or CM guide, or want to give staff easy access to a login portal for your agency website. Simply add that URL to the Customize / WebformLinks tab, and that link will show up in the Help menu from any screen in CasaManager.
New Feature: Add tag for found set
You can now add tags for an entire found set! This new option is available from all Tags tabs. **Note: There is a default limit of 50 found set records. This means this option will not be visible if your found set is over 50 records. This limit was built in to prevent data from accidentally being entered for your entire set of table data. However, you can increase this limit in Agency Preferences.
New Feature: Filter Caseload by active advocate
We’ve added another filter on the Caseload screen, to allow you to filter that list of cases by active advocate. This is a manual type field, simply enter the name ( first or last ) of the advocate ( staff or volunteer ) to filter the list.
New Feature: Manually add Volunteer Reference
We’ve added the ability to add / edit a volunteer reference. You cannot add or edit the responses from references, but you can include a reference for a volunteer that wasn’t included in the original application.

Another option is find the volunteers you wish to report on, and use the View As menu ( binoculars in the dark-blue nav bar ) and select Compliance Report.

New personal pref: Assigned value list in Find mode. Ever wonder why, when in find mode or performing a Mix & Match find, the value lists for fields look different? This is because when finding records, the value lists are populated by all the unique values ever entered into that field. This is helpful for data cleanup, so you can see all the entries made in a field, find the errant entries, and clean them up. However, some users aren’t cleaning up data and just want to see the assigned value list for the field. Simply set this new personal preference to Yes, and you will see the normal, assigned value lists for fields when you are in Find mode.

A confirmation dialog has been added when assigning staff to presets. This will hopefully reduce the incidence of inadvertently assigning staff to a preset, which can cause navigation options and tabs to become unavailable.

Merge Duplicate Professionals: Now you can find and merge duplicate professional records in CasaManager. Simply use the Action Menu item to find duplicate professionals based on name. Select the record to keep and the record to merge, and run the process. All child and parent attorney assignments, documents and professional tags are moved, and you are given the option to remove the now-empty, duplicate professional record.

Missing tasks worksheet is now available from volunteers! Using the View As menu, you can find a set of volunteers ( maybe it’s all your active supervised volunteers ), and select the Missing Task Worksheet in the View As menu to view all the active cases for those volunteers, and evaluate if there are any missing tasks ( hours with activity ) in a date range.

NCASA / GAL 6 Month Survey has been updated for January – June 2025! Per NCASA, there have been no changes to the data gathered for the 6 month report. You can find the Jan-Jun 2025 6 month report in CasaManager in the National Reports section of the reports menu. Select the report, set your date range, run the Wizard to check and fix and data issues, and complete the 6 month report with the click of a button.

Duplicate your Workshops and Outreach events! Save time creating recurring inservices / workshops and outreach events by duplicating existing events. Find the workshop or outreachyou want to set as recurring, and use the Action Menu to duplicate the event. You can either set an interval ( 1, 2 or 4 weeks ) and a start / stop date, or enter the dates for the future events manually. Confirm the process and voila!

New Feature: Merge Duplicate Facilities! There is a new Action Menu option to find duplicate facilities. Once you are looking at a list of possible duplicates, on the far-right of the Facility List are checkboxes to select the merge and keep facilities. Simply select which facilities you wish to merge and which you wish to keep, check the facility info, and merge. All placements for children in the selected facilities will be moved to the facility you selected to keep, and the duplicate facilities deleted. Try it today to keep your facilities list clean and concise!

Hide Closed Cases Fix – We’ve resolved an issue where closed families were still displayed in the selection object when the “Hide Closed Cases” option was enabled. This has been fixed, ensuring only active cases are shown when the setting is turned on.

Following our recent launch, our team identified some performance issues with certain dashboard widgets, which were experiencing slow load times. To address this, we’ve updated those widgets and implemented optimizations to significantly improve the speed of the dashboard refresh.
0003649: [General] During login, some users were locked into a small dialog (jeffh)
We’ve received reports from new users that encountered an issue with the login process, where the dashboard appeared in a modal dialog box and prevented them from advancing through the platform.
This issue has now been resolved with this release.
0003648: [Reports] Judicial Council Report 3: Export (kevinl)
You can now export the Judicial Council Report 3 data! Simply click the Export button at the top of the report to get that data exported. You can then copy / paste data from this spreadsheet into the updated Judicial Council 3 spreadsheet.

Documents have been added to Outreach Events! Now you can store sign-in sheets or info flyers / brochures for your outreach events in CasaManager. Simply go to the Outreach Documents tab and upload documents like you would anywhere else in the system.
